Editing on Photoshop

Editing my images with Photoshop.

 My edit is contrast and brightness:
this is quite simple as Contrast makes the black blacker, Brightness makes the light lighter, resolution of the image size is 300 DPI
Brightness= 16%
Contrast=21%

Burn= Darkens
Dodge= lightens












My edit is Curves:
 Cross pressing gives the image more of a retro look/ 80's style.

My edit is Noise:
This edit makes the image go black and white for an effect.
this image with the noise added make it seem more dark and distracting like as if it is mysterious and sophisticated which I was looking for in my image.

My edit is Clone stamp:
The clone stamp tool hides away any blemishes and spot that are seen to the naked eye, however my model didn't have many spot but all I've done is match little blemishes here and there but not many.

Text to image tutorial:
First step Choose an image from Google of a bloody hand, then place in Photoshop and quick select tool get rid of the background, use the smudge tool and smudge the sides 150 degrees.
Step two, go onto Google again and find a Zombie typography that you like then place into Photoshop and quick select tool, after that Ctrl+J then drag onto your other image and place where ever you want. in the end you'll roughly have this piece.

The next step is to add the other text by select text tool it can be any text you want but for mine I've put films of 2014, place the text above the image in your choice turn or swivel to your match and accept the placement. 

The next step is layers and by this I have used the Ctrl+J to copy each layer that was needed, I have done this because I want to keep my original image as it is but I want to edit at the same time.
With layers I am able to  to see the layer or not by the eye tool.
 The eye tool is a little eye near the side of the layer you click on it to see or not to see the image or effect/ edit.

Also the reason to why we can use layers is to build up more texture in an image.













Photoshop tutorial with layers, image and text.

As you see here I have chosen an image for the web of a hand and typo from the web also I have
used Text tool for the finishing touches.

To start off I dragged the image into Photoshop    and deleted the background like I already explained earlier I then taken the typo and deleted the background from their like I explained before, I then added the effects and the typo together with the image to create my image.

As you see underneath the layers that I had used to make my effects for my image. I started off with a white background the white is to help see the web image more clear and so that the red from the blood is more visible this is better than using black as the black would just absorb the the red from the image.
my second layer is the web image with effects as you can see on the diagram on your left the effects are drop shadow of red to make a more blood splatter effect to the image then the second effect is colour overlay of grey the reason to grey is so that the image doesn't look to bright but you can still see the detail of the hand.

My third layer is the typo image of "zombie" as you can see I don't need any effects as I'm wanting the red/ blood stand out from the hand image that I have placed over the top of the hand so it looks like the hand has slapped it onto the screen. I rotated the typo slightly onto the left side to give it more of an interesting feel to it.

My fourth layer is the combined layer, by this I had Ctrl+J the image of the two web based images and made it into one layer, this lets/ allows me to move both images at the same time.

My fifth layer is using the text tool of "Films of 2014", I have used this to make my image have more understanding as this image is created for the article that it written. I tilted the text to fit with the typo I have done this so that the typo and the text link together as one, I needed this to happen so that the the image has a connection to the whole web image.

For my final image that I have done I have came to a conclusion to what I will be using the Curves and burn/ dodge image, I have chosen this image clearly because it looks dark and expressive than the other images. also the it fits in perfectly with the article that I have created and I have gotten the sophisticated look to it.

For my image/text image I have came to my final attempt of my image and I created the hand with the typo of "zombie films of 2014" and with in my image i have made it pretty good to way I got both image and typo from the internet however I have created and presented in this Blog.
