Then I created the logo of an original magazine called Empire By using Dafont.com I then copy and paste it into PowerPoint Documents and removed the background and shape the font, I then place on to a separate page in Photoshop and used the Paint bucket tool to fill the magazine logo read However to get the original shape i save an image from Google images and dragged it into Photoshop onto a new page, there I could use the colour select tool onto the original logo and highlight the main colour that's when I used the paint bucket tool to fill in the rest of the logo. After all that i then positioned my own logo to where i thought looked presentable.
To create the white boxes with writing on them all i did was use the Rectangle shape tool and dragged it across the top of the page I made it thin so that it looked like a boarder. I then copied by using Ctrl+J and then dragged it down to the bottom of the page just so I had the lengths at equal measures, I adjusted the bottom white bar to make it look a bit wider so that I could fit the main text into it Example; whats in the magazine or who will be in such page or features.
I then added a cut out image of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield on the red carpet just to make my magazine look more professional like all the other Empire magazines.
Then i also added a bar-code from off the internet. Don't worry i checked and its not a real bar-code from any product its just a dub so its genuine.
My next step into creating my magazine I added in some text, By text i mean i added the date of creation, how much the magazine is in pounds (£), how much in dollars ($) and the shipping code.
I wanted my magazine to look just like a professional Empire magazine but in my own creation of course because I generally like the layout on how this magazine helps us the viewers stand out from the other magazines so that we can buy it and its all down to the main image where the model has to be in the 3 lined rule so that the model looks like she is looking straight at you in which draws you the buyer into buying the product, I have already done this with my image of my model and to me I think I have nailed the same aspect on drawing the buyer in just like what Empire would do.
I already explained in my other blog: Editing on Photoshop, on how I got my image of my Model to look like that. Where her face is glowing and the background seems more dull.
However that's just the start of my Magazine.
